What I can do for you
As a retained client, when you sign up you get:
An Initial Consultation
This one on one private and personal session is conducted either face to face or over Skype depending on where you are located. The initial consultation is usually between 1 – 2 hours and is where you basically tell me about your business, what your strengths and weaknesses are, who your target market are and, most importantly, what you want to achieve with your business over the next twelve months. The initial consultation would be conducted in the first week of you signing up.
Beginning Support Sessions
These one hour sessions are also conducted with face to face or over Skype depending on where you are located. The beginning consultations will be where I detail what online marketing tools we will be using to achieve your business goals as discussed above and are also a chance for you to fine tune the work I am doing for you in the initial stage. There will be 4 beginning support sessions in the first two months of you being signed up.
Ongoing Support Sessions
These one hour sessions will be conducted remotely via Skype unless otherwise specified. They will be to make sure we are staying on target and to discuss any changes in your online marketing effort that either you or I would like to make. From the third month on after you sign up, we will have one of these support sessions every month.
Facebook Page Head Start
Facebook has become the most important Social Networking site in the world very quickly and has just topped 500 million users worldwide. It is the most popular Social Networking platform in Australia, with more than nine million users currently registered. In fact, globally if Facebook were a country, it would be the 3rd most populated in the world, just ahead of the USA.
The Facebook Page Head Start includes the initial set up of the page which, while relatively simple to do, is an important and time consuming step which if gotten wrong, can mean the difference between early success or failure for the page, and in turn your business’ social media future. It also includes modification and simplification of the page and the copy in the description box and the info tab.
After you have the first 25 people ‘liking’ your new page, I will secure a custom URL for you which will change the link to the page from a long messy string of characters down to a simple link using the business’ name or service provided right there in the URL.
I will also post 3 new articles/links on your Facebook Page every week for the first 4 weeks to get you started. This not only adds content to your page, making it look more professional and more established, but also gives you a quick opportunity to promote something directly to your existing, as well as new, fans.
Then, instead of the normal tabs available on every other Facebook Page, I will set up a custom tab for your page where you can have your own text or images that reflect a similar look and feel to your main website. You can have a welcome message, a database email capture or pretty much any other customisation you want on the tab, in fact, I can make your Facebook Page mirror the look and feel of your main website with some nifty coding and the inclusion of images, logos, videos etc.
Twitter Head Start
Twitter is the biggest mover and shaker in the Social Networking world right now. In Australia, Twitter had a quarter of a million people join up in the first few months of 2009. That represents a growth of 1067% over the previous year. That’s a huge and growing audience – do they know about your business yet? With my Twitter Head Start Package (THSP), you can confidently jump in to using Twitter to market both yourself and your business more effectively.
The Twitter Head Start includes set up of your Twitter account including your bio and a link for your Twitter landing page or wherever you want your followers to be directed to. It also includes an announcement/introduction on my own Twitter account which has in excess of 2,000 followers, as well as 15 tweets sent out from your account each week for the first 4 weeks until you get the hang of it.
Unlimited Help Hesk Access
You will have unlimited access to my Online Marketing help desk. Email me as little or as often as you like – no questions are silly or a waste of my time – and I will get back to you promptly (usually less than 24 hours) with an answer or a suggestion to help your business go forward. I find this is particularly useful for a lot of people who would normally not seek an answer to a question that they consider to be a silly one – although these are usually what other people in the program want to ask as well!
Weekly Podcasts
Each week, you will receive a new podcast discussing a topic relating to marketing a small business. These might include social media, webinars, creating alternative or complimentary revenue streams, advertising, Google Adwords and so on. The podcasts can be downloaded and listened to on either your home computer or your iPod.
Expert Interviews
I will also regularly interview an expert in small business marketing on a topic that is suggested by members of the Online Marketing Easy Program. These interviews are based on a wide variety of topics and some of the people I have interviewed charge up to $1,000 an hour for their mentoring services. These interview podcasts are also free to members of the program.
Free Video Promotion
During the first month, I will record a high-definition video of you outlining your business, your products and services, how people can contact you and so on but also what your online marketing goals are and what you have had success with in the past. This is great free promotion for your business as the videos will be posted on my blogs and promoted through my social media channels to my database of just under 8,000 people.
So how much does all this cost?
Probably less than you might think. Similar programs can cost up to and over $1,000 per month and while I’m sure they are fantastic and probably worth it, I just don’t need to charge that much. I would rather include more people in the program which boosts the wealth of information available in our own little network than have just a handful of people in the program paying bigger fees.
